Users must still conduct their own due diligence.

5.1 General Requirements
All listings must be:
- Accurate, complete, current, and not misleading.
- Lawful and safe.
- Clear about what is included, excluded, and expected.
- Compliant with these Terms and any categoryspecific rules.
A listing should clearly state:
- The service or asset being offered.
- What is included and excluded.
- Expected deliverables or asset details.
- Price and any additional charges.
- Timeline or availability.
- Location or service area.
- Cancellation and refund conditions.
- Any limitations, assumptions, dependencies, or risks.

- Fake, stolen, or misrepresented items.
- Services that require licences or qualifications the user does not hold.
- Anything that violates applicable law, these Terms, or our Community Standards.
Zexus may edit, restrict, reject, or remove any listing that violates these rules.
6. Quotes, Bookings & Contracts
A transaction may be created through:
- A published service package or asset listing.
- A custom quote.
- A client or buyer request.
- A milestone agreement.
- A booking or offer accepted through the Platform.
Before payment, the parties should confirm:
- Scope of work or asset details.
- Deliverables or asset condition.
- Price and any additional charges.
- Start and completion dates or delivery timeline.
- Revisions, inspections, or acceptance criteria.
- Cancellation and refund terms.
- Any special conditions.
A booking becomes binding when the client or buyer accepts the applicable terms and payment is confirmed, unless the transaction specifies otherwise.
A Pro or Dealer must not accept a booking if they know or reasonably expect that the agreed work or asset transfer cannot be completed within the accepted scope and timeframe.
7. Payments & Conditional Release
Payments must be made through payment methods provided or approved by Zexus.
Where available, Zexus uses approved paymentprovider structures under which payment is processed and released after applicable conditions are satisfied. These conditions may include:
- Completion of the agreed service or delivery of the asset.
- Submission of agreed deliverables or completion of milestones.
- Client or buyer acceptance.
- Expiry of the review period without a valid dispute.
- Resolution of a dispute.
- Completion of verification or compliance checks.
Zexus does not independently operate a customer wallet or promise that it will hold customer funds itself. Payment processing, settlement, release, refunds, chargebacks, and payout timing may be controlled or affected by the relevant payment provider, bank, card scheme, or financial institution.
Pros, Dealers, and sellers must not treat a pending transaction as paid or withdrawable until Zexus or the payment provider confirms that the relevant amount has been released and is available for settlement.
Detailed paymentprotection rules, including review periods and automatic payout timelines, are set out in the Payments, Refunds & Disputes policy.
8. Delivery, Acceptance & Completion
Pros and Dealers must submit agreed deliverables or assets through Zexus or another verifiable method agreed with the client or buyer.
Clients and buyers should review deliverables or assets within the review period stated in the booking or listing. Unless a different period is stated, concerns should be raised within the applicable review window.
A client or buyer may:
- Accept the deliverable or asset.
- Request corrections covered by the agreed scope.
- Ask for clarification.
- Raise a specific dispute.
- Reject the deliverable or asset where it materially fails to meet the agreed terms.
A client or buyer may not reject properly completed work or a correctly described asset merely because they changed their mind or developed a preference that was not included in the original agreement.
If the client or buyer does not respond within the applicable review period, the transaction may be treated as accepted and payment may be released according to the Payments, Refunds & Disputes policy.
Once the applicable period expires without a valid dispute, the transaction may be marked as completed and closed.
9. Revisions, AddOns & Changes
A revision is a reasonable modification required to bring the deliverable into line with the accepted scope.
The number of included revisions is determined by the applicable package, listing, or quote.
A revision does not include:
- A new project.
- A materially expanded scope.
- A change to the original instructions.
- Additional work caused by information the client or buyer failed to provide.
- A personal preference not included in the original agreement.
- Work outside the selected package or listing.
Pros and Dealers may offer addons for additional services, materials, transport, rush delivery, extended support, extra revisions, or other agreed work.
A client or buyer must approve an addon and its price before the Pro or Dealer incurs the additional cost or begins the additional work.
A Pro or Dealer must not impose undisclosed charges after work has begun.
Where a client or buyer changes the scope after work begins, the parties must agree through the Platform to:
- A revised price.
- A revised delivery date.
- Additional milestones.
- Additional materials or expenses.
- A revised acceptance period.
If the parties do not agree, the original scope and price will continue to apply.
10. Cancellations & Refunds
A client or buyer may request cancellation before work begins or before asset transfer. The availability and amount of any refund may depend on:
- The booking or listing terms.
- Whether the Pro or Dealer has started work or transferred the asset.
- Work already completed or value already provided.
- Materials or expenses already approved.
- The reason for cancellation.
- Applicable law.
- Paymentprovider procedures.
A client or buyer may be eligible for a full or partial refund where:
- The Pro or Dealer fails to begin the service or transfer the asset.
- The Pro or Dealer abandons the project or transaction.
- The Pro or Dealer materially fails to deliver the accepted scope or correctly described asset.
- The transaction is cancelled under its specific terms.
- A refund is required by law.
A Pro or Dealer may request cancellation where:
- The client or buyer provided materially inaccurate information.
- The requested work or transaction is unlawful or unsafe.
- The client or buyer fails to provide essential access, information, materials, or approvals.
- The scope materially changes without agreement.
- The client or buyer is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise unsafe.
Refunds may be delayed by paymentprovider procedures. Detailed refund rules are set out in the Payments, Refunds & Disputes policy.
11. Delays, NoShows & Safety
A Pro or Dealer must promptly notify the client or buyer if a delay is likely.
Where a Pro or Dealer fails to start, disappears, or materially misses the deadline without a reasonable explanation, the client or buyer may request:
- A revised completion or delivery date.
- A replacement Pro or Dealer, where available.
- Cancellation.
- A full or partial refund.
- Dispute review.
- Another remedy appropriate to the circumstances.
Where a client or buyer fails to attend an appointment, provide access, supply required information, or respond to reasonable requests, the Pro or Dealer should document the issue through Zexus.
A client or buyer’s failure to cooperate may justify an extension, cancellation, partial payment, or another remedy depending on the transaction terms.
For appointments or services at a client’s or buyer’s home, office, or other premises:
- The client or buyer must provide a safe working environment.
- The Pro or Dealer must comply with reasonable safety requirements.
- Neither party should attend while under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances.
- A party may cancel or leave where there is a credible safety risk.
- Any incident should be reported to Zexus promptly.
- Zexus may restrict access where there are safety concerns.
12. Reviews & Ratings
Reviews must reflect a genuine transaction or interaction.
Reviews must not contain:
- False or misleading statements.
- Threats, extortion, or harassment.
- Hate speech, discrimination, or abusive content.
- Unnecessary disclosure of personal information.
- Advertising unrelated to the transaction.
- Content intended to manipulate ratings.
- Claims that the reviewer cannot reasonably support.
Zexus may remove reviews that violate these Terms, our Community Standards, or applicable law.
13. Commissions, Fees & Payouts
Pros, Dealers, and sellers may pay commissions or fees on completed transactions.
Unless otherwise stated, applicable commissions are deducted at source before the Pro or Dealer receives settlement.
Zexus may change its pricing or commission structure by publishing updated pricing terms or providing notice where required. See the Pricing & Fees policy for current rates.
A Pro or Dealer becomes eligible for payout only after the applicable payment has been released.
Payout timing is subject to the payment provider’s settlement timelines and may be affected by:
- Verification.
- Fraud or compliance review.
- Disputes.
- Refunds.
- Chargebacks.
- Incorrect payout details.
- Banking delays.
- Paymentprovider restrictions.
- Legal or regulatory requirements.
Zexus may, where permitted by the applicable payment structure and law, recover a refund, chargeback, reversal, or other amount from future settlements owed to a Pro or Dealer. Where future settlements are insufficient, the Pro or Dealer may be required to repay the amount.
14. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
- Defraud, impersonate, threaten, harass, or exploit another user.
- Circumvent Zexus’s payment or commission processes.
- Arrange offPlatform transactions with users introduced through Zexus to avoid fees or obligations.
- Manipulate reviews, ratings, search results, or verification systems.
- Use stolen payment details, identity documents, or account credentials.
- Upload malware, harmful code, or illegal content.
- Provide or request unlawful, unsafe, or deceptive services or assets.
- Facilitate money laundering, sanctions evasion, or other financial crime.
- Falsely claim that work or a transaction has been completed.
- Attempt to trigger payment release dishonestly.
- Create multiple accounts to avoid restrictions or bans.
- Misuse another person’s confidential information.
- Perform unsafe work without appropriate qualifications, licences, or protection.
15. Account Suspension & Termination
Zexus may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where it reasonably suspects:
- Fraud or misrepresentation.
- Payment abuse or chargeback abuse.
- Safety risks or serious misconduct.
- Harassment, discrimination, or harmful behaviour.
- Prohibited conduct or repeated breaches of these Terms.
- Repeated cancellations, noshows, or poor performance.
- Circumvention of the Platform.
- Regulatory, legal, or paymentprovider concerns.
Pending transactions may be paused while an investigation takes place.
Termination does not remove obligations arising before termination, including payment obligations, confidentiality, and dispute responsibilities.
16. Disputes & Governing Law
Disputes between users should first be raised through the relevant transaction page and handled under the Payments, Refunds & Disputes policy.
Zexus’s internal dispute process does not prevent a party from using a court, regulator, mediator, arbitrator, or other lawful process.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Subject to any mandatory rights available under applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or the Platform should first be addressed through Zexus’s internal dispute and complaints process. Where court proceedings are necessary, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Rivers State, Nigeria, or another competent court determined by applicable law.
17. Changes to These Terms
Zexus may update these Terms from time to time.
Material changes will be communicated through the Platform, by email, or via a notice on the website before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
